It's Katie's birthday and it's bringing back much loved memories of the night she was born. You looking after James and I for the evening, tucking us up to bed, then hearung the phone ring and finding out Katie had been born! Of course we then got out of bed and shared your Belgian bun to celebrate. I'm sure you started knitting extra small hats and cardigans that very night.
Not only been thinking of that day but the birthdays after, although my memory isn't great, 😢.
I made Katie's Cake and I really hope I did you proud. It was chocolate and vanilla marble with chocolate and vanilla butter cream. I wish we could have baked it together. But I still use all the things you taught me in the kitchen today 💜.
